Glasgow Mela and Glasgow Jazz Festival Showcase

Glasgow Mela and Glasgow Jazz Festival Showcase will take place at The Savings Bank, Glasgow on 30th May.

Glasgow Mela 

Blending Traditional Scottish, Indian Classical, and Jazz influences, Bletherin creates a unique sound that brings together the richness of these musical traditions. The band will perform their own original compositions, showcasing their distinctive approach to genre-crossing music.

Glasgow Jazz Festival

Mama Terra is a Glasgow-based spiritual jazz band, signed to Acid Jazz Records. Led by Marco Cafolla and Konrad Wiszniewski and featuring the ethereal vocals of Rachel Lightbody and double bass of Ross Saunders the band will perform their original music plus some arrangements from their latest live album recorded at St Luke’s in Glasgow during the 2024 Glasgow Jazz Festival,  “Chameleons - Live Interpretations of Herbie Hancock”.
