ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: TRIPLE01S

For any new fans, can you tell us a bit more about Triple01s?

Triple01s, we were a rap duo from Glasgow. Sadly, my best friend and half of Triple01s Tyler, known as Trigga, passed away after fighting cancer for a number of years. Now my mission as YSK, the other half of Triple01s, is to grow what my brother and I created together and do it for our city Glasgow.

We can't wait to see you play at Clyde Chorus this month – what can fans expect from the show?

You can expect high energy. My team and I will be there to go crazy with you all. I do this rap thing for these moments – being in front of our fans and performing what we have created is always the best thing about being a rapper. I love it.

What’s the best gig you’ve played to date? 

This has to be our first ever headline show in Glasgow at SWG3, an incredibly special moment to sell it out and do it for my brother Tyler. 

Are there any artists that inspire your music/songwriting? Who and why? 

I recently went to see Central Cee at the Hydro, so of course him. To be able to take drill rap and take it to the biggest stages in the world. That’s seriously inspiring. I hope I can achieve that one day.

Do you have a dream venue you’ve always wanted to play? 

As a kid born in Glasgow, it has to be either playing TRNSMT or the Hydro. That’s the dream in front of my hometown. 

How is the rest of 2025 looking for you? Any exciting plans you can tell us about? 

I’m excited for this year. A lot of things we have been working on for a long long time are now coming together, and there's new music on the way. I’m excited!
